Up for sale is an industrial strength Singer 66 class sewing machine with a great cabinet. This wonderful 1940 Singer perfect for sewing Jeans, Quilts, Dresses, Leather, Tents, Sailboat Cover, Auto Upholstery, and more !!!! All parts are constructed of metal including all metal drive gears to insure lifetime use. There are no more sewing machines built tough like this one all metal cast iron body. Today machines are made of plastics and inside parts are made of aluminium and today bobbin case are made of plastic they cannot handle nylon #69 thread. This machine features a drop in bobbin & is perfect for around the house sewing, repairs to all types of fabric.
SOLID AND STRONG, IN GREAT CONDITION. SMOOTH AND RESPONSIVE TO A SOFT TOUCH.All parts are constructed of metal including all metal drive links to insure lifetime use. This strong Singer heavy duty single needle straight stitch, zigzag with an oscillating hook (semi-rotating hook) sewing machine.This sewing machine will last a very long period of time, just only by oiling and cleaning your nice sewing machine.
This machine was completely restored to it's original factory specifications which I respect carefully. Parts clearances are of high precision in any sewing machine and any adjustment has to be respected carefully within the limits of the manufacturer.

Notes: – All sewed samples shown on pictures are included with shipment. To accomplish perfect seams, the use of #50 or commercial grade thread (Coats Nylon Upholstery equivalent to NYLON #69) as well as #18 needles are recommended.
