Date Listed: Aug-05-08 We decided to foster a dog in need of a permanent home, and here is her bio and some pics. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting her, please let me know. Name: Delilah Sex: Female Age: Young (2-3) Size: Small/Medium - 47 lbs Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix Great with kids, OK with submissive male dogs, very high prey drive, not good with cats, birds, rodents, etc. She is house and crate trained. The rescue adopts all dogs out fully up to date on shots and already spayed, and also micro-chipped with a Home Again chip (http://www.homeagain.com) No known dog aggression but DA is something that any potential pit owner must be aware of and ready to handle if the need arises, especially in a multi-dog home or if you plan to bring your dog to a dog park (which is not recommended). Delilah was brought into the rescue that I volunteer for a while ago as a mama with babies in need of homes. She was transported from the south and all her babies were placed, as is common, but she still needs a home. She has been moved from foster home to foster home, but hopefully that will stop now that she's here, until she finds her forever home. Her pictures just do not do her justice. She is a beautiful "mini-pittie" - so petite and beautiful. She is about half the size of my lab. All potential adopters must fill out an application, and if that is accepted, must have a home visit. There is an adoption fee donation to cover costs of vet visits, vaccines, spay, microchip, and miscellaneous charges associated with taking care of a dog. If you can help this adorable mama in need, please let me know. Here are a bunch of pics of her with my dogs, Midnight (black lab), Max (pit/boxer), my daughter Alyssa, husband Lawrence, myself, a friend of mine as well as her senior pit.
