Persian - Small - Young - Female - Cat - Charlotte

Poor Charlotte was abandoned outside another rescue facility in a box. She was emaciated and covered in fleas. Two days later, she surprised everyone by giving birth to a single kitten! The poor baby died a few days later, and Charlotte became very depressed and stopped eating. She was transferred to Hidden Treasures and has completely recovered from her trauma. She is sweet and very playful, and loves attention. Charlotte has a grade 3 heart murmur and needs to be in a calm household. She was recently put under anesthesia to be spayed with no complications at all, and she will be re-tested for the heart murmur prior to adoption. She is defensively confrontational with other pets initially, but will calm down and get along with them provided that they are not aggressive towards her. She does not attack-she simply makes a lot of noise to ensure that no one is going to take advantage of her. She tends to do better with males than with females. She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper.
