Up for sale / offers is a 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe equipped with a 289 V8 engine. Almost everything in this car has been replaced.

Lets start with the interior...most of the interior has been completely replaced. New vinyl, new floor upholstery, new horn, original seat belts. The wood steering wheel is the identical to the one in "Eleanor" from the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". For tunes the car sports a premium 2,000 watt. stereo sound system. The Clarion head unit is remote controlled CD/MP3/AM/FM and is Sirius Satellite ready. From the tweeters in the front to the (2) 12" Aluminum Audiobahm subs in the trunk, there are a total of 12 speakers in the car. Two amplifiers and a capacitor in the trunk power the system. Fuse protector on battery, knob for adjusting bass, blue led lights (see photos) in the sub enclosures that flash when the bass hits. There is a kill switch for the system in the dash and a kill switch in the trunk. Perfect for showing off at those car shows!! The owner is willing to take the stereo system out if the buyer does not want it. The price will be discounted accordingly
Now to the exterior...new tires, rebuilt transmission, upgraded shift kit, custom hood pins, turn signals were installed in the hood air vents which are pretty neat (you can see them in the photos), new tires, new exhaust, new air filter, new alternator, water pump, Holley 2-barrel carburetor, new starter, new bumpers and new chrome. No bondo at all on the car. The entire under body carriage is completely rust-free and has been treated with POR15, a rustproofing chemical. There is no rust at all on the car. There is one small blemish on the hood. The car could probably use a minor paint job. Overall, the paint is not bad at all.

This is the second owner of the car. He has owned the car for 5 years. Over $5,000 worth of parts and accessories has been put into this car. The owner has most of the sales receipts and maintenance records for the vehicle. The car has not been registered since 1996. The last registration was in Connecticut. The car looks completely different from when he first obtained it from the first owner. Alot off hard work and sweat has been put into this car. The owner is only selling this car because he is moving to the city and can no longer enjoy it. The car runs and sounds great and has no mechanical issues to speak of.
