Jada is a beautiful 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever with a funpersonality! She loves children as well as adults and will bond strongly toher own family. She has been in foster care for a little over 2 months nowand has bonded well with the foster family and even gives a wide range tothe family cat. She loves to play and will do anything to be with herfamily. She likes taking long walks, wrestling in living room, and justlying in the floor watching the family go about their routine. However, oneof her favorite things to do is to play in the water. They catch her in thesand and water table splashing and prancing around when she is in thebackyard playing. She is very well behaved and somewhat timid around newpeople due to her past. Once she gets to know you, she loves to be pettedand have her ears and belly scratched. She plays well with the other dog inthe yard and likes to run and wrestle with him.Jada is already house trained. She goes to the door and looks at it whenshe needs to go potty. She never barks but waits patiently. She is alsocrate trained and willingly goes into her crate. She has never barked whilecrated. During this time of transition she has used her crate for security.When strangers come around she sometimes puts herself in her crate.Therefore, I would recommend that she have a crate wherever she goes until she is fully comfortable. She would be an amazing companion for someone who likes to hike, hunt, camp, jog, or make a wonderful addition to a loving family. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
